- Cut tops off pears (these will become lids)
and core.
- Stand pears upright in a bamboo steamer
or steamer insert.
- Fill each pear with 1 tablespoon honey
and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Place top portion back on top of each pear.
- Cover, and place steamer over a saucepan
of simmering water.
- Steam pears for 15-20 minutes or until soft.
- Serve with yogurt.
