- 4 Cups of water

		- 1 tsp fish sauce ( or 1/4 tsp salt)

		- 4 teaspoons Agar-agar powder

		- 400 ml Can sweetened condensed milk

		- 1 1/2 teaspoons Almond essence

		- Measure water into a saucepan.

		- Sprinkle agar-agar powder over surface
			or add soaked agar-agar strands.

		- One cup of soaked and drained agar-agar
			strands may be used instead of the
			agar-agar powder.

		- Bring to the boil.

		- Stir until agar-agar is dissolved.

		- Turn off heat.

		- Add condensed milk and almond essence,
			stirring well.

		- Pour into a large shallow dish and
			leave to set.

		- Cut into diamond shapes and serve
			on its own or with a mixture of
			oriental fruits such as canned
			lychees or longans, canned mandarin
			segments, or fresh melon balls.
